Rex Wilder began his career in advertising as a copywriter on the Toyota account in the Los Angeles office of Saatchi & Saatchi, before transferring to their New York office on the Wendy's account, where he was part of the "Where's the Beef?" team with Cliff Freeman. While there he created two Super Bowl commercials for RC Cola and won a Clio for his radio work. He added another Super Bowl commercial for McDonald's while working for Leo Burnett in Chicago. Rex won the ABC Entertainment account as a freelancer for Grey Entertainment and was subsequently hired as their Creative Director, and in the years to come created award-winning ads on numerous entertainment accounts, both consumer and trade: ABC, TBS, CBS, Paramount, E!, and Fox. Most recently he has been recognized for his standout work in the non-profit world, from the AIDS bicycle rides to the Breast Cancer 3-Day.
